Thy Kingdom Come, Thursday, Ascension Day (21st) to Pentecost (Sunday 31st).
Thursday 21st (Ascension Day) at 2pm there will be an Ascension Day reflection on Facebook Live from Bishop James which will in part consider the county’s ecumenical Vision Refresh. This will be available to watch afterwards. Even those without a Facebook account are still able to watch.
Friday 22nd to Saturday 30th May: there will be 5 minute video reflections posted each morning on the Barrow Mission Community Facebook page (you don’t need to be on Facebook to view these: www.fb.com/barrowmissioncommunity).
Pentecost Sunday 31st May:
Bishop Emma will be recorded a specially filmed reflection/sermon based on Acts 2 which will posted to the Diocese of Carlisle’s YouTube channel on Thursday 28 May. A transcript of Bishop Emma’s sermon will also be uploaded to the diocesan website in order that it can be printed off locally.
At 7pm there will also be a joint Facebook Live county-wide broadcast including prayers, hearing how churches are coping and reaching out during the coronavirus, and talking more about the Vision Refresh. The interactive session is due to last for 30 minutes and people can post prayer requests and questions(prior to the event) as well as on the evening via the Facebook comments section.
With our prayers that this finds you all safe and well,
Fr. Jack and Clare.
